Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the tofrvique website and any related pages, forms, and educational materials made available through it (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Tofrvique Ltd (“tofrvique,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the Site, browsing content, or submitting a form, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

2. Educational Disclaimer

The course and information presented on the Site are provided solely for educational purposes. They are intended to teach culinary fundamentals such as mise en place, knife handling, heat management, ingredient selection, kitchen safety, baking basics, meal planning, international cuisine building blocks, and food presentation.

The course does not guarantee employment, professional certification, restaurant success, or specific personal results. Outcomes vary based on ingredients, equipment, time, and practice. Always use appropriate caution around knives, heat, and allergens, and follow food safety guidance relevant to your location.

3. Description of the Site and Changes

The Site provides information about our online culinary skills training and includes registration and contact forms. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, including lesson descriptions, curriculum outlines, formatting, or availability of pages, without liability.

We try to keep the Site accurate and current, but the Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” Some content may be simplified for clarity and may not cover every edge case (for example, differences between ovens, cooktops, or ingredient brands).

4. Registration and Communications

When you submit a registration request, you provide limited personal information (first name, last name, and email address). When you submit a support message, you provide your email address and the content of your message. We use that information to respond and to provide course details requested by you.

You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate another person. You also agree not to include sensitive personal information in messages (for example, medical details). For more information about how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Site. In particular, you will not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related systems.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or bypass security measures.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or email addresses using automated means without our permission.
  • Submit false, misleading, or defamatory information through forms.
  • Transmit malware, phishing content, or any code that could damage or interfere with the Site.
  • Use the Site in a way that disrupts availability (for example, excessive requests or denial-of-service behavior).
  • Use the Site in violation of applicable laws or regulations, including any restrictions applicable to your location.

We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe there has been misuse, attempted interference, or harmful activity.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site, including its text, design, layout, graphics, and any educational materials or lesson descriptions made available through it, is owned by or licensed to Tofrvique Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Site without our prior written permission, except where such use is permitted by law.

“tofrvique” and any associated names, taglines, and marks on the Site are trademarks of Tofrvique Ltd. No rights are granted to you to use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may reference third-party services used for hosting, security, or analytics once you provide consent via cookie preferences. Any third-party links that appear on the Site are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, content, products, or services.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You should review those documents before interacting with third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components, or that any information will be complete or suitable for your specific kitchen environment. Cooking involves inherent risks (heat, sharp tools, allergens), and you are responsible for applying safe practices and judgment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tofrvique Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tofrvique Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Site, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, pandemics, civil unrest, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications outages, cyberattacks, and cloud or hosting provider failures.

12. International Use

The Site is operated from the Czech Republic and may be accessed worldwide. We make no representation that the Site is appropriate or available for use in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with local laws that apply to your use of the Site.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of laws principles. The courts of London will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and allow a 30-day period to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, attempted to interfere with the Site, or engaged in harmful conduct. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tofrvique Ltd regarding the Site and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings related to the Site.

17. Assignment and No Waiver

We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

18. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective 14 days after they are posted on this page, unless a change is required by law or is necessary for security reasons, in which case it may take effect immediately. The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when these Terms were most recently revised.

19. Electronic Communications

You agree that communications we provide to you electronically, including via the Site or email, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. Where permitted, your electronic acceptance of these Terms is equivalent to a signature.

20. Contact
